Is Vodacom ****ming Data

I use 2 GB's of data a month, this month suddenly 4 GB's and more. 2 GB's in 1 day, when I look to see where my data went, its says peer to peer. I am a 58 year old person, not big on social media, not registered with Tik Tok and I dont watch movies on my phone or even You Tube. Sure the odd clip sent from friends, 2 GB's for a day. Something is very "fishy" here.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation.

Please note that data usage is based on connection from sim and device. Your device records your data connections and this will reflect on your data monitoring tool on the device. As the network, we do not have control over the interactions recorded on your device.

Peer-to-peer file sharing is the distribution and sharing of digital media using peer-to-peer networking technology. Peer-to-peer software allows individual devices to connect to each other over the internet to share files.

As a once off gesture of goodwill, we loaded 2GB on your cellphone number. Kindly ensure that you track and monitor your data usage via the data monitoring tool on your device or alternatively download the Vodacom app.

We apologize for the inconvenience and the service experienced.

Regards,

Vodacom Consumer Website Team

Best regards,
