IS THIS HOW VODACOM TREATS CUSTOMERS?
On ht 20th of September,2015 I upgraded on one of my six VODACOM contracts. From the catalog provided I opted for a router witch included a hard drive and 3 gig data for R199 per month. We were told that they were out of stock but should receive stock within the next week or so. The upgrade fee and sim swap was paid for and the contract was subsequently signed and concluded. We were informed that the router and the hard drive would be delivered due to the inconvenience (how nice). So the wait began. A week later we were informed that still no stock and that the Johannesburg branch had used up all the stock and that they have actually been waiting for the stock for two months all ready. PATIENCE we were told.... Eventually I requested for the SIM in order to use my DATA at least. No attempts were made to keep me informed of anything. I phoned again and was told that the stock has eventually arrived. At the store I was informed by the Store manager that unfortunately the deal has expired and there is nothing they can do about it. So where does that leave us. I have signed a legal contract yet not received my goods!!! I should now just stop paying all other contracts. FALSE ADS.
