Is this another tactic by Vodacom to UNDERMINE BLACKS ?????

I don’t think this is the kind of service that happens to white people, this is another form of **************, and systematic ****** and I will note tolerate this !!! Vodacom inconsistency is unacceptable and they are good enough to debit my account and I have been their loyal client for years This is by far the worse service I have ever received and I will ensure that I lodge my dispute with the Ombudsman for short-term insurance ! I will not accept mediocrity and segregation !!! I expect this matter be resolve urgently !!!

On the 30 of June 2020 I submitted my IPAD (contracted to Vodacom) device for repairs . I took the device to Vodaworld and to my shock and suprise I was advised by the *********** consultant that my device which is contracted to Vodacom was not on their system and it was NOT their product ! After back and forth of arguments I then consultant said I should leave the device he will then contact me later to confirm if the device was insured or not, which still didn’t make any sense to me, so I left fuming, then on my way home I decided to contact the Vodacom Customer Care to confirm the contract I have on my IPAD with Vodacom, I gave the consultant same details (my ID number) given to Vodaworld… then the consultant confirmed that the device is on the Vodacom system and confirmed that the device is insured with Vodacom, the consultant was even shocked herself as to how Vodaworld failed to locate the device on the system and to her shock she immediately contacted the same consultant at Vodaworld on this number ***) then eventually the device was confirmed that it was now on the system. I then immediately received a call from the same consultant at Vodaworld that my device was located, ready to be taken for repairs which it might take within 7 working days. On the seventh day (13-July-2020) in the afternoon I then decided to contact the repair center since I haven’t received any feedback on my device, to my shock the consultant from the repair center boldly said the device was taken back to Vodaworld, ready for collection without repairs done on the device because the insurance rejected my claim due to sim card issues… I then asked the consultant as to why I wasn’t informed about the rejection and that the device was taken back to Vodaworld she couldn’t answer , she was very cold and merely apologized and said she can’t do nothing for me then referred me to the Vodacom insurance.

Worse when I contacted the Vodacom insurance I spoke to another *********** consultant by the name of Francina and related the above narration and my frustration to her, she didn’t even have empathy and said the reason my claim was rejected is due to the another Vodacom sim card used on the IPAD prior to the damage, I then said to Francina when Vodacom offered this upgrade I opted not to be offered a sim card because I still have a contracted Vodacom sim card which I used for years, besides, the IPAD device doesn’t have option to make calls nor send text as a result the sim card will be useless anyway and I explained to her that I have been using my Wifi at home on the device, Francina then said they will have to listen to the sales call to verify, I then further ask Francina why the insurance failed to contact me when they rejected the claim, is this the procedure not to inform their clients on the final outcome of the claim, she couldn’t answer then to my shock she decided to put me on hold without any apology until the call went dead and disconnected. I then called back insisted to speak to the manager I then spoke to Grace (supervisor) and she was very shocked when I related my frustration on everything happened, she even alluded on the incompetency of Vodacom as she was once been ill treated by Vodacom despite being Vodacom contracted employee as she said.... (so who am I ??) She apologized and said to pull the call recording between myself and Francina and also to request the sales call recording from IT which will take a week (shocked) so I should still call her back after a week.

To be honest I will NEVER recommend anyone to take a contract with Vodacom !!!!
