Is this a new ****????

I am horrified with Vodacom’s service lately.

Every month my data just runs like a tap, more than it ever used to. But Vodacom send me an sms to warn me that my data is running out (for example I have 248mb of data left). As soon as I receive this sms I then purchase a data bundle to cover myself until the new month. I have done this since being with Vodacom for years now.

Now on the 28th September 2017, I received an sms as follows:

You've used R603 out-of-bundle data on (cell phone number) so far this month. Dial *124# to buy 1GB data for 30 days at R149. Offer valid today until 23:59.

Shocked by this (and knowing I have no choice) I then purchased a data bundle to cover myself.

MY COMPLAINT IS:

Why did Vodacom not send me a warning sms notification that my data was running out like they have every other time????? AND THEN further to this why has Vodacom failed to warn me, a loyal customer, that I am accumulating data charges ???? Why ONLY tell me when I've used R603 already!!!!??????

This is disgraceful, I can only conclude that Vodacom are in the process of ******** their customers. You always send warning sms's BUT now for September you cannot send an sms to tell me I am running low on data OR that I’m accumulating charges.

According to your contract Vodacom will send threshold sms’s notifications when you have reached 50%, 70% and 90% So where are my notifications????

How can you charge me without notifying me?? Please, PLEASE go look at my account I always purchase data once I have received a notification warning me that my data is running low. You have cond me out of R603 !! What the hell?? Where were my notifications to warn me that I was accumulating charges?????????????????????????????????????????????

Because I am a loyal direct debit customer do you think I am stupid and will not notice this ?!?!?!

I expect someone to communicate with me asap, this is ****************!
