Is bereavement not enough?

My husband passed away in December. Vodacom used to debit his account monthly. I contacted Vodacom to explain the issue and the need to change the d/o details. I was told to pay the outstanding balance and forward POP plus death certificate to ***. Did this 14-04. No response. Resent 28-04. No response. Have just tried phoning customer service, SIX times! I cannot get through to ANYONE! There is no option to direct me to the correct department, i.e. retentions. In addition, the system does not recognise the mobile number! Is it not enough that I have to mourn my loss? Do I now have to fight with Vodacom to add to my misery? Does no one at Vodacom have the competence, and dare I say, compassion, to make the customer's experience less traumatic?
