*** IS A JOKE - DONT USE IT - RATHER GO INTO STORE

Vodacom asks you to send a cancellation letter to ***. You send a cancellation letter on 11/11/2021 signed by the account holder. The contract is still not cancelled. This is for a 83-year-old lady getting Dementia she hardly uses the phone and when I checked her bank statement and saw the amount going off, I realized they have not cancelled the contract. Chatting with Vodacom on Facebook, they now want me to take my Mom into the store to cancel - thus they are not willing to backdate the cancellation, and was the letter sent a total waste of time. I just don't get the logic behind this, they have the letter why can they not cancel it????? And I Even offered to resend and forward them the email. There is a total lack of common sense. And I think they should take responsibility as it is their fault.
