Is 2 months+ the normal waiting period for fibre installation?
Been almost 2 months now waiting for fibre after I've requested it on behalf of my father in law. I've counted no less that 15 calls made to Vodacom on their *** to follow up on progress and each time the consultant promises to 'sort it out'. Eventually after a month the actual fibre installation was caried out but no router from Vodacom supp****. Now we have a fibre line but no router 2 weeks on still.
Is Vodacom serious about fibre or is this just a side show? It is really embarrassing to note that a giant in the telecommunications industry lack the ability to communicate to its customers by just picking up a phone and keeping customers updated on progress. I'm still waiting for 'the manager' to contact me back since 2 weeks ago. I think the help desk is really just a couple of guys working from home with no influence what so ever. I might as well be speaking to a wall.
Because of Vodacom's poor service we canceled the service, and now we can't even get the service we've never had canceled.
Again, your working from home arrangements are not working, because your constantant just don't care.
Get the fibre line released please so that we can move on with our lives.
