Irresponsible sharing of contact information

I have a cellphone contract with Vodacom, and have so for 12 years. Over the past few months I've been harassed with countless telemarketing phone calls, at least every other day, from sales reps from companies Vodacom has shared my contact information with. I have been told specifically that Vodacom has granted access to my contact information.<br> <br> These calls are not only annoying, but a disruption to my day. It takes at least 5mins to get the telemarketers on the other side of the line to understand I am not interested. The sharing of this information is a direct violation of my right to privacy, as stated in the Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 2 Part B Section 11, \right to restrict unwanted direct marketing".<br> <br> I am positive I have not given Vodacom permission to share my contact details with any other company"
