Irresponsible Senior Support Doing Grievous Harm to Vodacom

I am extremely frustrated with Vodacom second-level support.

The first-tier operators are as polite and as helpful as they can be, but whomever they 'escalate' problems to needs a darn good shake-up!

They are single-handedly responsible for most of the customer complaints and are doing irreparable damage to Vodacom's reputation!

Mr Teboho Mofolo (Vodacom National Service Manager) - I am calling you out! You have had 17 years of experience in the employ of Vodacom, most of which was spent working your way up the ranks of the customer support infrastructure and the buck stops with you!

It is high time that SOMEONE at Vodacom started taking their (many) customer complaints seriously and either provide the respective people with the training they require to do their job or start cracking the whip because your senior support staff simply do not care!

I have been waiting for more than 6 DAYS for one of these (overpaid) support people to send a tiny (text) configuration file to activate my Fibre router!

Follow-up calls and updated Service Request tickets go unattended to while the front-line support staff try their best to reassure and appease customers that those responsible for attending to escalated issues WILL (eventually) respond.

Worst of all, I have been a Vodacom customer for almost 20 years - and am now looking at alternative service providers.

Vodacom management - the ball is in your court. Do not say you 'did not know' because the myriad complaints on Facebook and here at Hellopeter attest otherwise.
