iPhone Defected Battery and Sleep Button
Last year I went to the iStore in Fourways to get assisted with my device which had a battery that would overheat and would not last longer than 3-4 hours on the 3G network or in general.

Taking my device there I was assisted by Matthew, one of the store consultants and he told me that my device fell under the defected battery program and it would need to be checked and I would need to be replaced with a new device. The only problem was that my device was a Vodacom phone and not a Apple one.

He printed out a document for me which proved that it was under the program. I soon went to a Vodacom store in Cresta. They did not know about the program. I provided the document. They said the it does not prove anything but will be taken in for repairs. Soon it returned after 14 days with a replaced battery. The problems still persisted. I went back to the iStore and I was told that no Apple device is to be opened by a retailer and that I was to be given a new device.

Long story short, since last year December I has had a defected battery and sleep button and I am still not replaced with a new device.

I AM ANGERED!!!
