iPhone 6 upgrade misinformation

I am very annoyed with the misinformation provided by Vodacom representatives regarding the availability of this device, a week ago I decided to upgrade one of my contracts as Vodacom was offering the device as an upgrade. I first approached a vodashop to enquire and was told that there are no available devices in the country and was on back order, no reasonable time frame was given, firstly why offer the upgrade online and print media is its not available, I then tried the online upgrade, making enquiries by calling Vodacom directly as online it was shown as available, I posed the question to the representative that I was told no units where available, I was informed they had 8000 units in stock for online orders, so I proceeded with the upgrade, I was told the unit would be delivered in the next week. a few follow up queries I was given a waybill number and informed it would be delivered by RAM couriers, making enquiries with RAM, the waybill number was not found on their system. I called Vodacom again to enquire and only a week later was told the device is on back order, minimum 2 weeks. this is extremely frustrating as firstly I am upgrading due to the old device being problematic and its necessary to replace, I am now faced with disappointment,no time line as to when the upgrade device will be delivered or made available. this is absolutely misleading Vodacom clients by offering the device, being informed the device is available while in reality stock is unavailable. I am now in a situation where I am forced to use a failing device and waiting for a replacement, Vodacom please advise on how you are going to rectify the situation?

Thank you Vodacom for not going the extra mile, I as contacted by the upgrades department head and put in touch with the representative who processed my order, the reason given for the mishap was that the system showed availability at the time of the upgrade, nonsense, how ineffective is your system to show availability and still at this time allow clients to upgrade online without informing clients or making it known online for that device. I spent the better part of the day contacting Vodashop outlets all over and after 16 or so enquiries I found one outlet,Vodashop Gandhi Square in Johannesburg that had stock, incidentally the link on Vodacom online "check stock" lists a number of outlets as having stock and calling these in reality all reported having no stock. again the system updating on stock availability is poor, In any case the Vodashop was extremely helpful and I was finally able to collect the device. Thank you Vodashop Gandhi Square for your great service.
