On 23 March 2015 I hand my Apple iPhone 6 plus in because Siri doesn't work. At the time of handing in my phone to be repaired it had a hairline cracked at the top end of the screen, and a note was made. ( note fine one fine cracked -- not shattered and fully functional)

Unacceptable time frame:
23-04-15 phone handed in at Knysna Voda com Shop
01-04-15 phone received at George repair centre
01-04-15 phone sent to advance repair centre
07-04-15 accessing process started
10-04-15 I phone to hear what is going on and get a quote to repair the screen

Apparently when you iPhone screen is cracked the full warranty on the phone falls away.
1. This was not explained/mentioned to me when the phone was handed in or ANYWHERE ALONG THE PROGRESS REPORT SYSTEM.

I have been without my phone for 4 weeks and all I get is sorry you should of read the terms and conditions when you bought the phone. What? I reiterate : a hairline crack exempts the supplier from all warranty claims.

This is really bad service and I am more than disappointed with the hwole proccess.
Job no. ***2

For anyone else reading this: Is this void of warranty aplicable to all smartphones or just Apple? Apparently not!
