Internet down for a week, no sense of urgency

I've been disconnected from wifi since last week Saturday on the 16th of November. Today it's the 25th of November and I am still not connected to the wifi. I'm really disappointed and discouraged with vodacom. I've been calling the contact centre every single day, still till today they are struggling to resolve this stupid issue. I'm working from home here and I've already spent a R1300 on data, way more than what I normaly pay for my wifi. Every time I call in, I'm being told how sorry they are, and their technicians are currently resolving this issue. Last week Sunday I called in, they opened a SR which was closed on Friday on the 22nd without having to call and check if I am connected or not. Yesterday I logged another SR which is now treated as a new issue which I perceive this to be pathetic. I was never connected to wifi for a week. No sense of urgency is being shown. I asked to cancel my subscription and I am being told I need to give them a months notice. Imagine another month having to deal with vodacom. I highly do not recommend vodacom to anyone. I canceled my mobile contract late last year which was a hustle. Now I'm about to cancel the vodacom fibre contract and I am willing to pay the penalties. As long as I don't have to deal with vodacom ever in my life. This is really horrible. All they care about is I'll be credited for the down time which is most likely to be R100 or R200. Will I be credited for the R1300 I've spent on data? Will I be credited for the lost time having to make sense to go work at the restaurants so I can connect to their internet? Will I be credited for all this frustration? This is horrible, vodacom has lost its touch in a big way. I've been a customer since 2018. I regret having to be this company's client

There's a lady who contacted me. She really made me to reconsider my decision for cancelation of my vodacom fibre account. She went above and beyond and purchased 15 gig data for me so I can continue working while waiting for technician to come to my place. I decided not to cancel my subscription after engaging with that lady. Goes to show that there are some people who really cares about customers, she/s. She's the only person who actually came back to me and told me why the technicians actually closed my SR while my issue wasn't resolved yet, over 5 consultant couldn't tell me this. I really wish vodacom could appoint this lady to train the vodacom consultants, the star ratings will improve drastically.
