INTERNET CONNECTION/5G REQUEST AS PER MY LOCAITION COVERAGE.

Goodday,

Deal No. V34D20ALML Home internet Device Model:B535 Contract No. ICA***, Signed on 31 May 2024 in Vincent Vodacom Branch.

I have been up and down visiting Vodacom Vincent branch to no success. The staff is fami**** with me now and I with them (even know them with their names).

Vodacom is doing me dirty as I have kept my part of the agreement dated 31 May 2024.

On numerous occasion I have been advised by the customer service agents from Vodacom online to visit the branch so the problem can be solved, to get 5g as I'm currently on 4g and there is no coverage for it and that is the reason I don't have and has been struggling with internet connection.

Yes instore the person helping me did not deny it and had shown me areas that don't have 4g available because it has been replaced by the 5g. I was not happy even though I was kind of happy of the transparency.

But what I don't understand is why a big company like Vodacom would fail such loyal customers like me (as it turned out I'm not the only one). This development is costing us and Vodacom is not accommodating existing customers like me, right now we don't have internet connection while we pay for it.

All I need is this error to be rectified by vodacom as it is them who created it. I'm paying every month without fail and all I need urgently is internet connection in return.

The pain of purchasing data whereas I pay for wifi monthly is on another level. I depend on this internet for my home to run smoothly, I have 10 devices but I cannot even a single phone. Vodacom please I'm urging you to do better as I cannot wait any longer as this is not fair on my side.

Yes I was contacted by the Retention Team and the lady from the back office to contact this number *** when the two devices are collected and share the reference number for cancelation to take place, to cancel the contract without fee and be credited for this month of May 2025 (this means since I pay on every last day of the month I won't be billed for the month of May 2025). This lady was doing a follow-up on the collection of supposed to be collected devices and learned that the devices in question were never collected from my place of residence but the courier driver **** and said he has the collection whereas I still as in right now have the devises in question as I'm still waiting for the courier guys to collect as per my telephone conversation with the Back Office lady.

I'm not sure which game is Vodacom company is playing with me because on the 28th May 2025 at 09:28 am I receive this sms: Dear Vodacom Customer. Your service ticket with reference number EC-21EK-2HMTHY has been closed. Thank you Vodacom.

Follow up being done by me again I was advised that this case will be opened again, the next day 29th May 2025 another follow up made by me again and was put through collection department as I was told that a collection was opened on Monday the 26th May 2025 and bare in mind that I was advised about 3 working days for the collection to take place and today the 30th May 2025 still no collection has been done and everytime I make a follow up on this I'm advised to wait for the collection of the two devises.

1. I request Vodacom to advise as to where do I take the two devises since it's clear that it's not happening in anytime soon.

2. A refund as per our telephone conversation that I will be credited for the month of May 2025 (Vodacom just deducted from my bank account minutes ago.

3. I'm in need of 5g supported router as I'm delaying in so much of my work, kids projects as they towards writing June exams etc.

I have been promised a collection of my two devices on the 26 May 2025 and that will take place within a period of 3 working days (this information was provided by the back office) of which now I have learned that it's 3-7 working days of which I have no problem to wait. But I'm so disappointed today it is the 7th day from the 27th May 2025 - 4th June 2025 18:21, with no communication nothing.

The company is not doing as promised for collection of two devices as the 7 working days are up and failed me more for a promised credited for the month of May 2025 that I won't be billed but I ended up being billed. I'm not sure on what one must do to get this corrected as I'm struggling with internet all I need is a 5g that is the available coverage for my area.

Refund *** for May 2025 and June 2025 and I was advised to get a new contract on the 1st of July 2025 since my two devices were collected on the 25th June 2025.

Now what I don't understand and needing clarity with is, this morning the 1st July 2025 at I went to Vodacom store in Vincent Park for a new 5g home internet instore at 09:17:56. Contract No.***2 and I already owe R800 and something and must be paid in 3 days. I need clarity on this since the agent who was assisting me could not explain on what is happening on the application I already owe. This is the first time I'm experiencing such. I need explainationation and someone to rectify this if this is an error.

I strongly believe that Vodacom has a problem with me asking my very own refund to be refunded in my bank account.

Invoice I****** I'm being billed R395.18 for cancelation of the devise according to Customer Service Consultant by the name of Nokwanda and she tried to put me through cancelations department to no success.

The device in questioned is supposed to be canceled without a fee and now I'm getting billed for it, on what grounds? As long as this company is thinking of taking me for a ride I will keep on writing on this platform until they do the right thing. I have never asked for Vodacom to replace 4G with a 5G, I was never contacted for the company's new development regarding 4G being replaced with a 5G as an existing client using 4G only on their network, I was told that the number in question will be canceled without a fee and now THIS!!.

Can someone get this right as this is a suprise that I don't like.
