Internet Connection
For the past month and a half, I do not have any internet reception. The connection gets dropped every 5-10 min. For a business owner, internet connection is what we need in order to process orders and invoices. Currently I need to use my smartphone to make a "hotspot" in order for work to continue but unfortunately I am not always in the office and therefore no online work can be done which leads to loss in revenue. A call was logged which was escalated to the so call "Solution Experts". No feedback for 2 weeks. Had to phone customer care to get feedback. To be honest, the feedback is such a load of bull - wide spread issues with connection due power issues caused by Load Shedding. If load shedding is the culprit, how is it possible that the connection is always dropped even if there is not load shedding. Also, how is it possible that I am able to use my smartphone without any issues. Personally, I think blaming Load Shedding for every little issue is really ridiculous. Just shows that someone is not actually doing their work, just sending a generic reply "its caused by load shedding". I pay my account every month and I can not use the service. Tried to cancel my contract - sorry sir, you need to pay a early termination penalty. What **** is this, you are deducting money from account and I do not get anything in return. Actually, Vodacom is *****ing my hard earned money. I still insist in cancelling my account as I am not happy with the internet service being provided. Along with that, I think Vodacom must also reimburse me for loss of income due to the poor internet service And please, do come with this generic reply: Dear Customer, Thank you for making us aware of your complaint. Get someone from the cancellation department to phone me.
