International Calling Plus

I have been making calls to Portugal for R0.89/min during August and September with International Calling Plus. On 7 October, I realised that I am being billed almost 10 times that at R7.99/min. I was never warned or advised about any changes to the rate. My questions are still:

1. Why was Portugal removed from the list?
2. Why was I or any other subscriber of “International Calling Plus” never informed of this change?
3. Was this a ploy to catch unsuspecting customers of "International Calling Plus”?

I was referred to a link that showed warnings of changes around this time, but no mention of Portugal. Why would you then warn subscribers of changes to Chile and United Kingdom around that time but not mention Portugal? Why do you sneak these changes in? Is this to catch subscribers unaware and charge them 10 times more than what they paid before the changes?

I have been writing to Vodacom about this, continuously since 7 October, and in the end they just referred me to their terms and conditions that state they can change it at any time.

Beware of the sneakiness of Vodacom.
