INSURANCE NEVER ADDED TO MY ACCOUNT - VODACOM CONSULTANT ERROR
It has been a couple of months that passed and here I am AGAIN writing bad review with the Vodacom brand!
On 19 March 2019 I upgraded my contracts at Vodacom Chatz Woodmead Retail Park, the consultant on the day that assisted was Owen Moeng. On this day with the upgrade I as the customer signed off on insurance through Vodacom for my phone, phone number related ***.
January 2020 I submit a claim for my phone that got damaged and to my surprise I find out that there is no insurance for this phone however the number *** which was upgraded on the same day, same deal with insure in fact has insurance on the phone but not the 072 number.
Contacting Vodacom Chatz Woodmead retail park and spoke to Lerato Ledwaba on Saturday 25 January 2020, the following was said: Owen no longer works at the Vodacom Chatz but has moved to Vodashop (on the same premises) she has no access to some system to check what docs was sent when, and that the documents was sent from Owen's personal email address, now this does not scream professionalism, for a company this big, employees do their day to day business from a personal email, pathetic! None the less she will contact Owen to find out if he has the email that the insurance documents were in fact sent from his personal email. Now this is NOT MY PROBLEM, and Lerato dares to tell me I must check that my insurance is there when I SIGNED for ****ing insurance that was supposed to be loaded on my account upon upgrade so this clearly is a error from the consultants side, do not dare blame me as a customer for a Vodacom **** up.
Lerato as a "manager" is honestly useless and takes no initiative to be helpful in this regard as indirectly she made it clear it is not her problem, any manager knows that you need to help customers where you can even if you were not involved etc. otherwise I honestly don't know how she came to being a manager if she cannot assist is this matter, all I heard on this day was excuses, and she encouraged me with a very snarky attitude to complain to Hello Peter or wherever I want to and also put the phone down in my ear!!!!
Now today 28 January 2020 @ 5am I receive the following email "The documents attached does not include the insurance update form and Owen cannot locate the form and he has confirmed that he used his Gmail to send the update request. The company cannot be held responsible as the documented were not handed in for activation. The consultant is still a vodacom consultant at the Vodashop"
The documents she is referring to is the only signed documents that I requested from Vodacom before I set the complaint in motion, if there are documents not there well guestivations who's fault that would be, definitely NOT MINE!!!! Now the sentence that makes no sense is "The company cannot be held responsible as the documented were not handed in for activation" Which company?? and if you are referring to Vodacom then guess what you will be held responsible as Owen is an employee of Vodacom , so Vodacom is to hold Owen responsible for not sending the required documents and conveniently it cannot be found on his email. Of course you won't find it, it is a personal email address and he probably deleted all work related content which means Vodacom (Vodacom Chatz) has no paper trail of work that is done and that is why they will just shrug their shoulders put their hands up and say meh not our fault, BULL ****ING ****. Customer service no longer exists in Vodacom.
Also mentioned that I will have to pay a short fall or back payment of the insurance?? I have no idea what they are referring to and I am not interested as I WILL NOT pay a single cent for Vodacom I already spend over R 3000 monthly on Vodacomn and this is the **** I have to deal with??
If my phone was under insured then there will be another complaint as I remember very clearly I was informed that the insurance amount will increase due to the new value of the phone, which I agreed to.
I will make this so very clear...... WHEN I HEAR FROM VODACOM AGAIN AND I DON'T GET A SOLUTION BUT EXCUSES ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE, I WILL GET LAWYERS INVOLVED, I AM ALSO PREGNANT AND FOR GETTING WORKED UP ON **** THAT VODACOM NEGLECTED TO DO YOU WILL GET ANOTHER LAWSUIT ON YOU IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO ME OR MY CHILD FOR GETTING THIS UPSET WITH USELESS VODACOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I expect full feedback with a solution from Vodacom by 31 January 2020!!!!
