insurance device cancellation **** --> contract cancellation **Vodacom poor service**
In shock and disgust really. Cancelled Device Insurance 20Feb2024, confirmed cancellation of device insurance 26Feb2024. I was billed insurance in full both Feb 24 and March 24. When I called to enquire why 25th March 24, Vodacom says they experienced a glitch in the system where my request and confirmation! "remained pending on th system"!!! I am busy now cancelling thh contract but no one on 082 135 (customer care) /*** (device insurance) /*** (cancellation) or 082 36 (accts/billing) any of these depts can tell me how the device insurance which was requested to be AUTO CREDITED ONLY on 25th March 24 is going to be refunded upon cancellation of this contract. Please can someone at Vodacom give me feedback?
Kindly note: this isse has NOT been resolved yet; though Nazley has contacted me and request is in process.
As a Quality Manager/Customer Centricity Specialist, I would strongly advise: PLEASE DO NOT BE SO HASTY SO AS TO ASSUME ALL IS IN ORDER, IT IS NOT --> what has your investigation identified as the root cause, was losing a valuable customer avoidable, how can Vodacom prevent this from recurring?
Note also, I am awaiting feedback 03rd April as indicated in your email below :
"Your service request number is: EC-1TJB-22Z8B8
Feedback will be provided regularly, ensuring that you receive progress updates on the resolution of your request. In the event that you would like to follow-up on your request, please reply to this e-mail with the service request number in the subject line.
I will feedback by the 3rd April 2024
I trust the above is in order.
