Insurance claim let down

I have sent my iphone in for repairs only to have my claim rejected because i did not have the original sim card in the phone.

Now tell me how this is fair? When taking on the insurance Vodacom will gladly take my money every month and not even bother to specify this kind of scenario. What if i had lost my sim or it got damaged and i decided to get a normal prepaid sim and carry on? What if i have my partner or child use the phone?

I honestly feel this is not fair as i currently have 2 contracts with Vodacom and both phones are in use even the original sim. We have disputed the decision only to be declined again.

This is extremely disgusting services and i have been forced to cancel my insurance because it is of no benefit to me. When my contract is done i will not upgrade or refer anyone i know to use the services of Vodacom! Every aspect customer care, billing, new contracts is a hassle and waste of time.

Very unhappy with the manner in which this was handled, money down the drain!!!
