Insurance claim
I'm not happy with vodacom I booked in my device in March for repairs after I upgraded my contract than the system updated the new phone which is Samsung Z flip. Vodacom declined my claim because of usage which is unfair and now after 6 months my phone is still not fixed and I'm a VIP customer and I'm paying almost R3500 on my accounts I'm even thinking of canceling all my accounts with vodacom. When I go to the store I was informed that my claim is approved but the repairs are unable to proceed because the claim is lock. Job number ***5 the device that was booked in is Samsung s10e. This is the worst service ever and my account is up to date. This is the treatment I get from vodacom after so many years.

05 Sept 2022, 17:57I am still not satisfied with the services received from Vodacom. I in the meantime received a call from the insurance department of Vodacom, but unfortunately they have limited to no information on their system, not even the name of the Vodacom shop (Wonderboom Junction) I booked in my device (Samsung S10 - relatively new phone which I bought in cash). The lady from the insurance department was also not very helpful and rude which upset me very much. Herewith a summary of my situation: I booked in my device in March 2021 for repairs as my phone was insured at Vodacom, my statements indicated the payment towards insurance. I needed a cell phone and therefore had to upgrade my contract and received a new phone Samsung Z flip, which I then not insured as my previous phone had to be fixed first. Vodacom for some apparent reason declined my claim which is unfair and now after 6/7 months my phone is still not fixed. I'm a VIP customer and I'm paying an average of R3500 p/m on my account. I'm now really considering to cancel all my accounts with Vodacom. I personally went to the Vodacom shop approximately a month ago, and I was informed that my claim is approved but the repairs are unable to proceed because the claim is locked ( Job number ***9). I contacted the store again today, but according to them the phone has not been received back at the shop from the repairs department. I am not sure what the situation is and nobody van give me any answers. This is the worst service I ever experienced. My husband is at MTN and very satisfied with their services, I wish I had listened to him and moved to MTN prior to upgrading. I would not recommend Vodacom at all!
