Insurance claim

I'm highly dissatisfied with the cellphone insurance I took from Vodacom. When I took I out the policy it was stated that my cellphone was covered for 10000. Lost my phone few weeks back and when I had to claim I was told it's not fixed and I'm covered for R8000. Im very frustrated and disappointed as I currently don't have a phone and I feel like it it's unfair that that I have to pay a huge amount that I don't have. At least they were suppose to warn me from the beginning but insurance department agent don't wanna assist and insist I'm on me being under covered.
