Insane repair/replace policy

<p>I have many gripes with Vodacom... some of them below but I guess they are still the best of a bad bunch.</p> <p> </p> <p>1. My brand new iPhone started turning itself off when it gets to about 35% battery power. I’ve sent it away for testing twice now and it comes back with the same problem each time. They just keep reloading the software. If it didn’t fix the problem the first time, why would it have fixed it the second and now I’m going to be forced to send it away again for a third time. I’ve had to buy a second phone just so I have a backup to use while the iPhone is out of action or being tested. This leads me to my next issue...</p> <p> </p> <p>2. Why doesn’t Vodacom offer a "loan phone" service. Even if I have to pay for it. Why am I forced to buy a second phone that I don’t need while I’m paying a fortune for the one that doesn’t work.</p> <p> </p> <p>3. The first time my phone went in, it came back with scratches on the aluminium casing. When I informed Vodacom, I was told it’s not possible because they package it in bubble wrap in transit. What type of BS nonsense excuse is that?! What about the person handling it during the repair process?</p> <p> </p> <p>4. Why doesn’t Vodacom have a customer care email or online contact system?!! Why must I resort to a secondary platform like Hello Peter just to get my voice heard! I don’t want to call your call centre to be passed around and ignored.</p>
