Inhumane treatment of customer by Vodacom

Good morning, I write this email to let you know about inhumane treatment I have received from Vodacom. Last month I unfortunately miss account payment and I immediately call Vodacom to make a payment arrangement. The arrangement was that Vodacom will debit all the outstanding balance on the 20th of November on my account and I also requested that the debit date be changed to 20th monthly. The lady who assisted me promised to do it. The 20th came and passed without vodacom processing anything but I waited and waited until Friday the 24th. To my surprise I received an SMS from Vodacom saying 'your collections outgoing calls bar had been activated', which I didn't understand. I tried making calls only to find out that both my phones were not working, I could only receive calls🤔. I tried calling Vodacom on 082135 to make them aware, only for them to send me an SMS to chat to ToBi and they knew I couldn't chat to ToBi because SMS and WhatsApp was blocked and not working. I tried opening my banking app my to make a payment, I couldn't because my data and minutes were blocked. What made things worse is that I was making funeral arrangements for my brother in law and I was unreachable and could not do key things like making payments via my app and calling to make funeral logistics, I have never experienced such humiliation and trauma from such well trusted brand. My other friend said a whole analyst don't have airtime, MTN would never do that to him. I lost a R4000 chicken deal because I couldn't return the WhatsApp messages or make a call. To say I'm disappointed with Vodacom would be a huge understatement, I'm actually even embarrassed to be associated with you. Actually I want to cancel all my accounts with you, I have never experienced such inhumane treatment. Since Friday the 24th November, I can chat, SMS, email or call anyone, or even do my banking yet on my account I have more than 800 minutes and more than 10gigs of data and yet Vodacom was at fault because they failed to implement the payment arrangement I made for the 20th of November as a responsible customer and yet you are very quick to close my account on the 24th while I was busy with funeral arrangements for my brother. I will post this on socials and hello Peter so that people may know how Vodacom treat its trusted customers when they are down. To make matters worse I called Vodacom on Monday 27th, luckily got hold of them, the lady by the name of Zanele who assisted was very rude and actually changed the payment arrangement date to 25th without telling me and transfer me to collections without even alert me. The collections did assist by escalating my query to supervisor, who called and immediately drop the call. That's where I realized that I'm dealing with ********s that doesn't even have an iota of integrity and care. I called again on the 28th and I was told they can't assist unless I provide proof of payment, how can I provide proof of payment when my phones are not working? Eventually Unakho assisted me by temporary unfreeze of my account.
