Inflated debit order of R572. Reported numerous times. No feedback

Attention to Chad Pillay, Maria Motshoeu, Kumaran Govender, Dean De Jong. Herewith a request for feedback for the query that I have brought to Vodacom's attention on the 22 October 2020. The reference number to the query is ***.

Query summary: I have received an SMS notification from Vodacom on the 22nd October 2020 stating the next debit order amount of R590.41 to be collected off my bank account on the 28th October 2020 rather than about R203. This happened after numerous calls I have received from representatives on behalf of Vodacom; the representatives were offering a variety of products which I declined. I also made it clear in the telephone conversations that no changes must be effected in my cellphone contracts.

22 October 2020: I called Vodacom and have spoken with Gabisile at about 9:05am, and after a long battle spoke to Dean De Jong.

23 October 2020: I called Vodacom to follow up on my query and spoke to Shaylan, thereafter requested to speak to a manager and never succeeded with that through Shaylan. A second call had to be made by me, and then eventually spoke to Kumaran Govender.

Due to the frustrations I have experience in escalating my query, I decided to cancel both contracts for the numbers *** and ***. This was after I gave Vodacom a chance to resolve my account issues as soon as possible, in order to avoid an incorrect/unauthorized debit order of the amount R590.41 from collecting on the 28th October 2020. The team leaders I spoke with confirmed that the Magtape had not collected when I escalated my query.

Kumaran confirmed that the accidental insurance cover was activated in my account, hence the SMS notification with a debit order amount R590.41. Kumaran also confirmed the cancellation of a contract for the number *** and the unauthorized insurance cover. Kumaran promised to contact the Vodacom Upgrades, requesting a call recording for a retention offered on *** , and also find out if it is possible to reverse the upgrade done on *** in order to cancel the contract on *** without a premature cancellation fee being billed to me. Kumaran promised to give me feedback in writing and telephonically with regards to all actions performed in my account and what has been done to rectify the error on time. I am still awaiting the feedback.

28 October 2020: Debit order collected R572 off my bank account.

29 October 2020: I called Vodacom to follow up on my query and spoke to Khanya who put me on hold for about 40 minutes after I requested to speak to a manager. I also battled to speak to a team leader through Riaz Ismael. The leaders that I have spoken with eventually are Maria Motshoeu and Chad Pillay. Chad promised a telephonic and written feedback. The feedback content was supposed to have been the same as the one requested from Kumaran as stated above, as well as to state the credit amount to be transferred to my bank account. I still have not gotten any feedback.

I need my query to be attended to urgently and feedback provided as I have requested.
