Increase in prices of a fixed term contract only 6 months into 24 month contract
I have just been told there will be a increase on my contract- which only end Oct 2023. How can they just increase a fixed term contract at a set price? When prices of contracts come down they say they cant decrease my contract because it is fixed for a specific term at a set price. But now because it is a increase i have to incur they can all of a sudden alter the fixed term contract. NOT HAPPY!! Am sure it is *******.

04 May 2022, 13:38I think you are missing the point. And yes- i know you have hidden legal jargon to allow you to increase prices when you want!!!! - However - why do you not exercise that right to lower prices during a fixed contract when prices of data come down? And again------ if I have a fixed term contract at a set price - then the price should not be adjusted during that term. In my own business - if I quote a client on a t-shirt and they accept the price - then the price goes up I cant ask them to pay a higher price for an already accepted job! Its the ethical - good client relationship that I worry about and so instead of losing a customer - I absorb the cost until the next job where I would then quote on a higher price. So after all my years at Vodacom I will now look at other service providers when my INFLATED contract comes to an end.
