incorrect info given by the consultants
Took out a new contract with Vodacom in April 2019 which had a special of taking a HUAWEI 5Y for R199 and you get the other phone for free. Consultant advised that the phone will be delivered within 5 working and once activate an amount of R199 will go off which I was happy with. The amount never went off in April 2019 and then again in May 2019 which queried via the Vodacom chat only to be advised that I will only be invoiced on the 20 June 2019 for an amount of R205. So today on the 21 June 2019 I have made contact with the collections department to find out as to why the amount was never deducted on the 20th June as advised by the consultant only to be told that the debit will go off on the 24 June 2019 for an amount of R437.06. So my question to the consultant is why so much money as I was told about the R205 that I will be charged in June. Consultant advised that its because I am being invoice for last years statement and I told her I will not pay for that amount as I have cancelled my previous contract. Consultant advised that she will go and have this verified. The then I am being told is because of the two months that I was not billed my question to her is whose problem is this as for two months I queried this with Vodacom about the debit order that has not gone off. The consultant then advise that I will have to be transferred through as the wrong information was given which again the consultant is passing over to the sales department to have this issue resolved.
