Incorrect data balance

I have been noticing that for a while now on one of my data contracts the allocated monthly data bundle is not as per the agreed contract. As an example this month the allocation was "Monthly allocation: 696.21MB" this is on a 2GB package???

Dear Client

Our records reflect that 2GB data was loaded on 1st of the month. As a gesture of goodwill, we loaded 1GB data on your number.

Customers are required to monitor (and may purchase additional bundles) via Vodacom Self-help Services in order to prevent exceeding Data Bundle Allocation.

The Self Help Channels are:

- My Vodacom App - download from internet

- www.vodacom.co.za - register cellular number

- Dial *111# and choose the option for Balances or purchases

- SMS the letters MM to 31050 (zero rated) to obtain balance information

Herewith please find more information for high data consumption http://now.vodacom.co.za/article/2015/08/25/where-is-my-data

To monitor and track your cellular data usage on an Apple device;

First go into Settings.
Then tap on Cellular.
If you scroll down a little bit at first you will see your total history.
It will show your Call Time and total Cellular Data Usage.
If you scroll down further, you will get an alphabetical list of all the applications which use cellular data.
If you scroll all the way down at the bottom, you will see a button called System Services.
If you tap on that, it will show you how much cellular data you are using for various applications.
Consider resetting the statistics on the first day of each month.
