My handset (phone) was send in March 2016 for repairs. It took Vodacom 6 months to fix the handset. I had to play middle man between Vodacom and Sony as Vodacom was incapable or unwilling to solve my issues, although I've been a client at Vodacom for almost 18 years.

It usually takes 3 weeks for a phone to be fixed NOT 6 months. My point is, I paid for the handset on my contract for 6 months BUT I didn't have a phone to use.

4 weeks ago (23 September) I sent an e-mail to the Vodacom (vodacomrepairs ********** regarding these charges for a handset that I DID NOT have, of R280 for 6 months (R1680). I've sent her the Job numbers in question and she rep**** that this has been resolved. The request for the charging of the handset was neither resolved nor did she refer me to the correct department. I had to email every few days to find out what was happening on this request. Again, Vodacom not eager to help a client.

I phoned Vodacom 2 weeks ago, asking what the hold up was regarding my request. They said I didn't phone the correct department and put me through several times wihtout any luck (Worst service than some of our local Departments). Eventually I phoned customer care and the operator promised me that the correct department will get back to me.

Since then no-one contacted, emailed, phoned or sms me with the request number or anything. It seems that Vodacom is yet again not capable or willing to help their customers...
