Incorrect Billing

I bought a 10 GIG mobile wi-fi at Vodacom Menlyn store. I got a phone inclusive on the package (A Sumsang J16). My instalment was R550.00 per mouth. It was in August 2016. In October my bill went up to R6550.00.I went to the store to inquire what pushed my instalment to that amount. They said my contract was an open line of which I was not advised. They lodged a query with ref no. S3-GCP3P-PYX6K on the 25-11-2016. They said they will call me within 7 days which they did not. I called after 8 days and the guy who helped me said they were still investigating. On the 5th of January 2017, I called again and the lady who helped me said she could not trace the ref no. and lodged another query with a new ref no. 1- ********** 29092 again I was told to wait for 7days of which I did. By then they said I owed R10 000 it was bizarre because I didn’t use the modem (it was disconnected) and I stopped using it in September 2016. To date I haven’t received an invoice from Vodacom which I need to track what they charge me for.

I want them to remove the billed amount from my account because I didn’t sign up for an open line. I will to continue to pay the normal instalment of R 550 and I demand my name to be removed from the credit bureaus as soon as possible.
