Incompitent staff and exhorbitent profit margins

Phone upgrade trip, we looked at the vodacom booklet and found a s5mini with gear fit combo deal, we went to vodashop asked for this, then told the s5mini is discontinued so basically false advertising , we asked for replacement and were referred to the A3, we were then told with the gear fit we need to pay in R3100, we said that's ridiculous and then asked what the fit costs and were told about 2500, so we said upgrade the phone with the A3 and ill buy the fit cash. Asked a accessories guy for a cover for the A3, he showed me two and said they were the only ones available, and one has a screen protector, I opted for the one with screen protector, then at the till i was told the gear fit was 3999, looking at the screen it said cost price 2299, selling 3999, i said no way leave it since the fit costs cash **** usd online and this was a ******* so in South Africa we pay 3999 for something that retails in USA for about 1700, vodashops profit is this units cost in the USA retail, bend over SA and get *****. i left it and then left, opening the cover that supposedly had a screen protector, had none inside returned to buy one and see more A3 covers on the wall, useless staff and ripoff.
