*********** Vodacom online Upgrades
In February 2018 I upgraded my handset online via the Vodacom website. Vodacom delivered the handset to me without a nano sim which I needed as my previous handset had a micro sim. (vodacom specificaly told me they would deliver the micro sim at no cost) I phoned Vodacom and was told be their helpdesk that I needed to go to my nearest Vodacom store to do the sim swop. I needed to pay for this and then send proof of payment to vodacom who would then credit my account. So I did all this and received various reference numbers along the way:- 1- ********** ********** and 1- ********** ********** . Vodacom told me they would get back to me but never did. After a good 3 calls to them I was eventually told that my query on the credit of the R63- sim swop was solved and query was closed. Nevertheless no credit. I was told by vodacom to get the refund back at the store who did the sim swop. I knew this was a waste of time, but I went to the vodacom store in Northgate who told me this was irregular and not vodacom policy. They gave me another ref number and told me again that vodacom themselves should issue the credit - another ref 1- ********** ********** . How hard can it be to sort this out? How much more fruitless runaround am I expected to make? Surely vodacom can't be so *********** that they can't sort out a R63.00 credit? I demand action now! This has been going on for nearly a month. I have sent my proof of payment twice to Vodacom, do you want it a third time???
