*********** Vodacom Fibre service

I submitted, via the Vodacom 4U dealer, a Fibre relocation request on 6 December 2018. The target date was for 13 December 2018, thus a 5 working day lead time. The request was in anticipation of me moving from Stellenbosch to a new house in Paarl. There has not been any action on this from Vodacom FTTH. I moved out of my old house on 12 December 2018, and have not had access to the Fibre service from that date onwards. I have had to replace my internet access with expensive mobile internet. So: - I’ve paid for Fibre for December, but have been unable to use it since 13 December 2018 as a result of Vodacom's failure to implement a properly requested relocation request - I’ve spent upwards of R2 000 on once-off data packages for myself and my wife to replace the service and effectively pay for Vodacom's incompetence This is simply unacceptable. Per the consultant, the entire Vodacom has downed tools for Christmas and are happily on holiday until 7 January 2019. If their relocation services are outsourced, they are not properly monitoring their agents. If it is a service delivered by Vodacom, then surely someone needs to be held accountable for this.
