*********** Vodacom!
I work at a corporate company with a corporate account with Vodacom but for some reason, Vodacom can't block contracts from overspending?? Surely if you are issued a certain package with a certain amount of free airtime and data included, your account should be blocked when this is depleted!? Not Vodacom, even top-up contracts can add costs to the corporate bill even after there are no funds left on the contract. How bizarre?? And if you query this with them - they can't give you answers - I get responses like ****erally copied and pasted from their email) "May i ask why does your users choose add to bill option when buying data and airtime if they know it is against company rules" - how can anything be added to the bill when it's A TOP UP CONTRACT?
We also have a corporate account with MTN and if you run out of airtime or data you are blocked period - you have to recharge at your own expense through online banking or with your credit card.
How is Vodacom not able to do the same with their contracts? I'm no IT expert but this sounds like they are in for the money and definitely not keeping their corporate clients happy. I wish MTN had they same coverage as Vodacom so I could move all our Vodacom contracts to MTN.
