*********** Vodacom
I have been with Vodacom for over 20yrs, and I have never been so disappointed and disgusted with their lack of customer service. I got a cellular enabled Apple Watch on the 28 September and went to Vodacom store at Fourways mall to get the service enabled on my watch, after waiting an hour to be assisted they told me that they don’t that at the store and I’ll need to call customer care to get OneNumber enabled. In a space of 2 days I spoke to 6 different people who had no idea how to get the process I was given 2 QR codes to enable esim which are not necessary for Apple Watch. I complained about a message on the watch app and not 1 could explain why I was getting the message, they kept telling me to unsync my watch which I did and nothing happened.
A service log was logged on the 29 September to address the issues and I only got a response from them on the 20 October saying everything was resolved. I was asked once again to unsync my watch which I did to no avail. I called customer service on Friday 21 October to get answers and all she says how sorry she was but couldn’t tell me why it was taking so long and what the issue was. She said that OneNumber was disabled and she will enable it again on my account, I was charged by Vodacom R98 3 times to enable the OneNumber service. When she enabled it on the 21 October I was charged R98 again, I was charged over R300 for a service that doesn’t work by people who don’t know what they are doing and the only thing they keep telling me is wait 24hrs them unsync my watch and restart my phone.
The 20yrs of loyalty I have given them means nothing to Vodacom, these only care about their bottom line. Well thank you Vodacom message received loud and clearly, GOODBYE.
