I took 2 flexi 200 contracts in 2016 January the contract included devices, it was a 24mnth contract. The contract was ending 01/2018. All went well as i started having difficulties paying as i lost my job. Reported that with vodacom and time an again i will make payment arrangements. I was not getting airtime and one time i ask y i was not getting it o if it was going to be loaded later once i finish the payment and i was told no i have forfeited the airtime. April i called an confirmed the balance i was Vodacom. Went to Eastgate Vodacom care the consultant called their call center as i wanted a confirmation on the final settlement. She then told me the balance i was owing and i settled the account. I confirmed with her the way forward regarding the contract as i asked if i can cancel . She confirmed that once the system update i will be on month to month and i can cancel the contract o i can keep the contract and get airtime and pay for it every month . I didn't cancel my contract i decided to keep the airtime and pay for it. Two months later i get an invoice with a bill that's including the handset i go to the store no one can explain i was told Vodacom made a mistake cause my contract has ended in January someone will call and do a follow-up. no one came back to me. I get another bill with handset go to the store was told someone did an upgrade on my line, still they said they cant assist i must go call accounts department they gave me a number. I spoke to a lady who confirmed the upgrade on one line and she said she cant assist i should call upgrade department she transferred the line to Upgrade . At upgrade department i spoke to a lady (Lebogang) she explained to me that their new system made a mistake. She confirmed my contract ended in January and also the handset installment in December. She logged a call (rf: 1- ********** ********** ) and told me to call the following week. I was not satisfied i tried to call accounts again then i am told a new story by (rude Monic) the contract will continues for another 6 months including the handset and she said, i explained to her that its the first time hearing such a thing and that i went to Vodacom to do the settlement and never even once ever heard of such. Monic said that was a Vodacom new policy which no one ever told me about from different calls i made & shops i visited. I then tried to call cancellation department (1958) i couldn't go through waited for 45min as the line diverted to upgrade department again spoke to a guy named Sthembiso who was also not in the mood to help, then I asked to speak to his manager and he puts me on hold 40 min, then later transfered me to accounts. I tried calling 1958 again i was through to accounts and i asked to be transfered to cancellation finally i was through to Sindi she also explained the extension of my contract for 6 months then i asked about the money that i was paying during arrangements what was it for she could not answer she referred me to accounts. Then i aks her to generate cancellation settlement for me what surprised me was the two different amount for two contracts that were initially open same time same day. I aksed how come the amounts were not the same, why the amount had a huge difference she could not answer she blamed the system. Can someone from Vodacom call me and give the clearity regarding their *********** stuff, their system that creates expensive mistakes on clients accounts!!!! Why people from same department will say two different things!!!! Can this issue be attended as i would like to port out my numbers please.
