On 2015-02-10 I went to Vodacom (Cape Gate) to port from Cell C to Vodacom. I was promised that my new Vodacom sim card will be activated the same day at 6pm. The following day the sim card still was not active, I went to Vodacom (Durbanville) for assistance and they could not help me as their system was down and had to address all issues telephonically. I waited at the Durbanville branch for 45min, before I decided to drive back to Vodacom in Cape Gate Mall. When I arrived at Cape Gate I was told the exact same story which is that I must wait until 6pm for the sim to be activated. Its been two days now and still the sim is not active, I cant receive or make calls, hence I'm losing business as well as money. This morning (2015/02/12) I phoned Vodacom Customer Care from a land-line and they indicated that I had to get my new sim card Rica'd. Surely this was supposed to be done in store when they were executing the porting. I'm losing money during this process, I'm unreachable for any emergencies etc and I must book another day leave to sort out this mess. I'm highly disgusted!!!!
