*********** service
End of Sept I tried to upgrade my cellphone account. I was told there were an outstanding account because of a penalty resulting of unpaid debit order. The joke is the debit order was canceled in April and was numerous times confirmed. Despite this, vodacom tried to enforce the debit order in August and September, despite the a count being paid with a recurring payment from my bank. Each time I must hear that a service request has been logged. But the account remains "outstanding" and vodacom *********** to sort this out! And with so many promises of feedback, and of course none!

14 Nov 2019, 15:06I received the call earlier this afternoon. This issue has not been resolved. I was able to upgrade over the weekend (after the post of my initial complaint), with the confirmation that there is nothing outstanding on my profile and there was actually a credit note on my account. And of course, I received the SMS yesterday "You can now arrange payment on your account". How would it be possible to upgrade if there was indeed an outstanding fee? Can anyone explain this to me!!????!?! And how humorous: Vodacom warns about ****s (***Please note*** Beware of phishing ****s.) but nothing will hinder them to deduct money from a bank account with no existing and authorised debit order...
