*********** and *************

I upgraded towards the end of last year. I stayed on the exact same contract so that i can manage my budget. Everything went fine, until my first debit order. I noticed that suddenly it is R220 more than what it was suppose to be. After going to a vodacom store, i was told that it was the last payment of my previous device, and that it would not appear again on my statement. I left for holiday, and when I returned, it happened again. Once again I was forced to go to Vodacom! This time they said it was a mistake and that a complaint will be logged and followed up. Weeks later they said that my account was credited with the amount that was deducted and it is now sorted out. The next debit order was correct, mainly because there was no debit order seeing that Vodacom owed me money. Then this month! I woke up one morning to a sm notification saying that over R5000 was deducted from my account. I phoned Vodacom right away. The customer service rep said that it is a accounts department mistake and that my call will be transferred. It took them more than 25min to transfer my call to the accounts department. When I finally got through and queried the mistake, they promptly cut me off, forcing me to phone back. After a entire day of phone calls and emails and facebook, I was told that the money owed to me will be paid back in to my account. A week later, and no money, I phoned Vodacom AGAIN. This time they said that they never logged the query and that my money will not be paid back. I will have to go through the process again. Frustrated, I went directly to the source. I contacted my bank, and reversed the debit order. It took maybe 30 seconds for my money to reflect back in my account. I also stopped the debit order completely, seeing that Vodacom can not be trusted with money or debit orders. After informing Vodacom that I stopped the debit order, I suddenly started receiving smses that I owed over R5000 on my account. It was also a amount that was different to the initial amount that was deducted. I made contact again, and was told my account was only outstanding by something like R200. Not a hour after receiving the now correct statement, Vodacom phoned me AGAIN! Claiming that I still owe over R5000 and that they want to know when this will be paid. Now I will have to go to a Vodacom store every month to make sure my statement is correct before I pay the bill. This will cost me time AND money. And I am sure Vodacom does not give a ****. Vodacom is without a doubt the worst cellular carried in the country. I absolutely can not wait for this contract to come to a end so that I can move to a different supplier. I am already convincing my wife to swap, she upgrades very soon.
