*********** agents, horrible experience! Don't use vodacom

Dear Vodacom

Firstly I'd like to say that your call centre customer service sucks!

I've been sent from pillar to post with no resolution to my problem and it seems that you employ idiots in your retentions department!

I initially got migrated from Nashua Mobile to Vodacom and that's when my nightmare started.

My core subscription price increased yet I still received the same amount of data monthly.

When my contract was due for an upgrade (contract end date 31 October 2016) it was never processed due to system issues and this went on for some time.

I was absolutely disgusted at the way i've been treated and decided to cancel.

A few days later I called back to halt the cancellation. I spoke with a lovely lady named Beryl and opted for an upgrade with no device but 2G data at R109 per month which to me was great value for money.

This also did not materialise as my number was still moved to prepaid which is not the agreement.

Every time I called back it seems as if no one knew what was happening on my account and no one was able to assist.

Then I was informed that someone at Midrand assisted me who assured me everything will be rectified.

I was told by Sipho in retentions/cancelations that a request would be logged to move my number back to contract and it still hasn't happened.

I was promised callbacks and no one kept to their word.

I'd like to point out that Felicity in your retentions department is the main reason that I'm really ****ed off as she was not willing to help and actually put the phone down on me.

The last person I spoke with is Webster (in cancellations)

He promised to assist and I'm still awaiting his feedback.

I was then told that I can no longer upgrade because it was too late to cancel my cancellation request and my number was converted to prepaid on the 31st October 2016 which I was okay with as my spouse got a better deal for us with Telkom.

I confirmed with the agent on the line that everything was in order and I have nothing owing to vodacom as I have completed my 24 month contract (contract started October 2014 with Nashua Mobile)

What really puzzled me was 3 invoices I received which stated that I have incurred early termination charges ect. I assumed that it was a system error as according to one of the agents I spoke to, there are two systems which show different cancelation dates.

How can I be charged for early termination when I have completed my contract?

I've received threatening messages about legal action and overdue arrears.

I am ****en ****ed off and I don't have the time or patience to sit on a phone to resolve this matter only to discover that nothing is recorded on the system and I have to explain myself all over again.

This is causing havoc on my ITC and I want this matter resolved before the month is over.

I want nothing more to do with vodacom and I want my number removed from the system.
