Incompetency from Vodacom

I phoned to cancel my contract and then was offered a good deal by the retention's department. The handset was supposed to be delivered, but unfortunately was RAM was hijacked. After 4 days i started phoning Vodacom to find out what the next steps would be.

I went through customer service, cancellations, upgrades, cancellations again and then customer service yet again and not one of the consultants could assist me. I phoned again the next day and the same thing - after 3 hours being pushed from one department to another department, i eventually told them to cancel my contract. "Sorry mam, wrong department" Needless to say, I lost it.

Eventually someone promised to sent an email to the buytes retentions department to cancel my contract.

So: 1. Vodacom's customer service is non- existent 2. Vodacom's consultants have no idea how to assist customers 3. Vodacom is in breach of contract as i have not received a handset, yet i have been charged an installment already.
