Incompetence that knows no bounds!

I opened a Vodacom contract in April. Almost 2 weeks and 7 phone calls later and I was given May's data allocation. For the incovenience I was offered an extension to the 2GB data deal, but not reimbursed for the loss of airtime I encountered over that period. It's June 1 and I haven't been allocated the data again!

The device I was given is faulty but I was out of the 7 day period so have been looking into cancelling my contract to move to another device. I called the Cancellations department who said I must pay for the device but she couldn't tell me how the amount was calculated. She put me through to Accounts who said I must pay 75% of the device but that only Cancellations can affect the change. I was put back to the Cancellations department where I was told by a guy that I must pay 100% of all airtime and the device still owing.

After getting 3 different answers from 3 different people I called the shop where I was told my contract had already been cancelled. He was just another in the line of incompetence and it hadn't been cancelled. The manager couldn't answer me sufficiently so I got the details for the head of Customer Satisfaction at Head Office in Cape Town apparently. She said she will look into it and call me back the next day. I got an SMS to say I am liable for full payment.

This is in contravention of the CPA and Vodacom have been in breach of contract twice in the three month span. I want to sue Vodacom for breach of contract and sheer incompetence that I have never yet experienced and hope to never do so again!

Vodacom, I do not want your stock standard reply of "We apologise for the service that you received and the inconvenience caused in this regard. The matter will be escalated and a consultant will be in contact to assist with resolution." I want to see you win me back again!

I received an SMS just a few minutes ago stating that my data for the month has finally been allocated.
I would like to know when this complaint of mine has been "resolved" from Vodacom's side.
