Incompetence, Poor quality or service or just Plain Malice

Trying to cancel my Fibre connection with Vodacom has been the worst experience ever with any service provider. I cancelled because the connectivity is so bad and to get someone on the line is a mission. Then you receive the typical script answer and not one that caters to your problem. Been struggling for a year now with them. I called in 24 April 2024 to cancel and suffered through my notice period of 1 calendar month. Service was supposed to be cancelled on the 1 June 2024. Received notification per email that it was cancelled but he cover stopped only on the 4 June 2024 which resulted in my new Service provider being unable to activate my fibre line. It is 9 June today and still struggling for Vodacom to release the line. According to the Vumatel message, they are have been given instruction to release the line only on 6 July 2024. The strange thing is the line has not been released but we not getting any coverage from Vodacom sine 5 June and they blocking any other re-activation. Even told me on the 5th June that the line has been released and deleted on their side. Asked for escalation on 7 an 9 June and still waiting for someone to call me. The call of 7 June has not been assigned even to anyone after I requested escalation. My question is now, is this incompetence, poor service, poor communication, poor quality or just plain malice on their side?
