Incompetence, poor customer service relating to fibre installation application

I app**** for fibre it’s day 23 now having been sent from pillar to post from day 3 or so. I kept on calling requesting updates sometimes experiencing *********** call centre agents. Even today I am told same thing we will write an escalation email. The technician arrived 1 and a half late when I was due for my next appointment. He was due to install at 8:30, at 9:00 am I sent an email to the contractor who had been in contact since the initiation of the process including cc all stakeholders. The email read: Good all

Please find the attached for your handling. The appointment is not honoured. I am due for a work interview at 11am.

If the installer is not here in the next hour, we will have to reschedule.

Regards

At 10:25 I received the call from an unknown number and when I picked up it’s the technician. As I was about to leave to my next appointment I went to show him the above email and we parted ways.

At 13:00 after my appointment I called the technician to locate his whereabouts and he was rude about it to such an extent that I picked up that his accent sounded foreign and I stand corrected. Even though I politely requested that he gives me answers as to when he would return to do the installation but he kept on insisting that the office would call me. I requested the escalation communication channels and he was outright rude.

I called the *** number. I was sent from pillar to post, at one point I was told the team leader was in a meeting and was expected to call back in an hour’s time.

After tiring backs and forward I said they must cancel the process and that too is an issue?

Exactly what is going on here?
