Incompetence induced Migraine
<p>In March 2017 I received an invoice for cell no ********** 511 reflecting an " equipment balance" charge of R5750.05, on a device that was turning 2 years between March and May 2017, and for which I upgraded the month before to a no device contract. So I naturally queried this and another week later I followed up and was told that R6555.07 (I presume vat was included) was "credited"/ written off? Which left me with a balance of R1918.80. I spoke to "solutions dept"as this amount was still incorrect, but alas deduction for said amount was made on 01/04. Today I spent approx 30min on the phone with Vodacom Call centre and I am merely requesting a detailed invoice as I am trying to ascertain exactly what the R1918.80 is for. Considering that I previously had 4 contracts and my bill was approx R1200 and now I have 3 contracts and I have "downgraded" to a no device deal- so I merely want to know why I am paying more for less?? The call centre agent transferred me to Solutions, who asked me to re-validate myself by then I was ticked off, so I asked for a Manager, who took the call only to do my validation and forward me the exact same invoices as was done by the Call centre agent I spoke to initially! and guess what, the manager just vanished and handed the call back to consultant no 2 in Solutions dept. And I still do not have an invoice or an explanation for the cost discrepancy..... and now I have a terrible migraine, so typing this is a bit difficult so I'll keep it short.
