incompetence

I have once again been the victim of the incompetence of some of the staff in the FTTH Billing department.

My bill has been reflecting an amount that is arrears for some months now and this is certainly affecting my credit ratings.

Everytime i have been in different vodacom stores and consulted with the staff, and even those in the accounts department on the phone, we all agree that i DO NOT owe any money and that i am paying for whatever service is received.

I received an email saying that they have closed this service request because according to them, the outstanding amount is from Feb 2021. I find it extremely strange that up until last October, (when my fibre line stopped working), the statements i have received showed that the balance was R0.00 and whatever was left was to be paid at the end of that current month. (i.e. it was upto date) If i was in arrears from 2021 why was it not reflecting in august 2022 statement. This is not the first time that this specific point was shown.

I dont know what i will take to sort this out. I have been constantly asking to speak to the supervisors or someone of higher authority and am constantly told they on a call and will call me back.

This is the worst service ever. Cant wait for all my contracts to expire. i will gladly move over to somewhere where the customer care is better and the people working there are not so darn incoompetent.

Absolutely frustrated
