Incompetence

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received regarding an estate claim that I initiated in November 2025. This claim was initially communicated as one that would take 5–10 working days to finalize. It is now February 2026, and the matter remains unresolved. I have consistently had to follow up on the progress myself, as I receive no proactive updates from your side. Each time I enquire, I am given the same response: “pending approval. This pattern reflects a serious lack of communication and accountability within your claims department. The level of service I have received is unacceptable. The continuous delays, lack of updates, and repetitive non‑answers demonstrate poor customer service and disregard for your clients’ time and circumstances. If this issue is not resolved urgently, my family and I will have no choice but to take our business elsewhere.

I am extremely disappointed with the way Vodacom has handled my claim. For weeks, I have been going back and forth with their team, only to be asked repeatedly for a “clear copy” of my ID even though I have already sent it multiple times. What makes this even worse is that Vodacom waits weeks before responding, ignores follow-up emails, and then comes back with the same excuse every time. This is starting to feel like a deliberate tactic to delay or avoid processing my claim altogether. At this point, I am no longer convinced that this is an issue with my documents. It feels like Vodacom has no intention of resolving this claim and instead continues to waste my time with repetitive and baseless requests. This level of service is unprofessional, unacceptable, and extremely frustrating. I will be escalating this matter further, as customers should not be treated this way.
