Incompetant Accounts Department

I have been a client of Vodacom for 18 years, and I have been battling with Vodacom Accounts for months now since March and before.

I was on debit order, but due to an issue with salary payments not been made on time at a previous employer, I put my payment method to cash.

On 01 March 2018, without me reinstating my debit order they deducted my amount due, and I paid via EFT... So I had to go into the bank to get an amount returned to me which was done by the 05 March 2018, however this ******ed up my budget becuase I had stuff to pay and had to wait for the reimbur*****t.

I called in and queried the debit order and no one could explain why a debit order went off, so I decided to reinstate the debit order for my own conviniance, and was assured it would go off.

Come 03 April 2018 I took a look at my statement to see Vodacom had not gone off via debit order, I had to call in again and pay EFT.

They told me I never reinstated my debit order and my payment method was cash, I even went into a store around this time becuase I also due to upgrade, and I was told payment method was cash. Come 02 May, I cancel my main contract becuase I have had accounting issues non-stop with Vodacom, and their prices are not affordable compared to other networks, but tell them to reinstate my debit order for my data contract, 01 June the debit order doesn't go off, so I pay EFT again.

03 July I paid my due via EFT becuase we have a repeat issue in July - in the interim I receive an account from Vodacom stating I owe double my due, I query it, only to be told it is becuase payment was only received 03 July 2018 - and so I got into a 'he-said-she-said' issue explain the above for the fourth time, with the consultant, and stated that I have requested that my debit order be reinstated since March without it been actioned. She assured me the double account and debit order would be settled....

It is now 6 August 2018 and nothing has been deducted off my account as expressly assured.

I have not received a statement either, I am not happy at all...

If Vodacom want their money they need to reinstate my debit order... I am not calling into the call centre again, at my cost to sort this out, becuase clearly my requests do not get actioned if I call in, thus I resort to alternative measure - I am annoyed beyond words...

Vodacom if you want the R332.37 due to you, reinstate the debit order!

Still no call back, almost three hours later - you have a client willing to pay her account, but who is no longer willing to run after her service provider, yet this is what I seem to be doing, if I do not get a call by end of business, my next resort will be facebook!
