Incompatible recommendation

I went to the local Vodacom shop in Middelburg mall MP, to do an upgrade on one off my cellphone lines.

I ask the lady I want a similar phone than the one I have (samsung J1). She recommended the Samsung J1 Mini Prime, but she recommended we do the upgrade online because they didn't have stock in store.

I done the upgrade online and received the phone, after a while the wife told me that the 5mp camara can't focus. I phoned vodacom and they said I must take the phone to the nearest vodacom shop to look at the phone.

We took it in, and the guy said they will send it away because there is a problem with the phone. After a few days they send me an sms saying I can collected my phone. Arriving at the vodacom branch the phone still does the same. They said they will send it away again.

The same story again..... but this time when I arrive at the branch they said the phone don't have an auto foto built in....

My question first question is why recommend a phone that don't have the specs than the old one. And why sending the phone away two time if the phone don't have it build in? Nowhere on the cellphone box does it say it don't have an auto focus in....
