inability to resolve a query

On the 11th of January I bought data for one of my Vodacom numbers, ********** 171 (this is not my primary number, this is a Vodacom tablet and to my knowledge a data device only) I chose the option online for 500MB data @ R49. I paid with airtime available from my primary number ********** 371. R99 was deducted from my airtime and not R49 . I called Vodacom the following morning. They refunded the R50 airtime and apologised. I questioned the consultant as to why this happened, because it shouldn’t have. Her answer to me was that I shouldn’t have the option available for 500 MB for R49….. I told her but that is what it tells me in black in white on my app or online if I log in via the website. She then told me she will get back to me.

Long story short… I don’t hear back, I tweet and they try to calm me down and someone will call me and I will send screen shots and explanations etc. Every time it is the same story, it is with the “back office” But no one can answer my question. All I want to know is why does the app and website give me an option of R49 for 500 MB data if a Vodacom consultant tells me it shouldn’t give me that option.. I haven’t bought data again to try to see if they going to deduct R99 again. Don’t want to waste my time again by having to call them and ask them why they deduct R99 and not R49 as per the options I chose.

I am trying to get a simple explanation ( I think) but it is frustrating, I just don’t get an answer.

It really feels like that Vodacom just dont care. And worst of all, if i want to move my contract to someone else, i will have to pay for it. Vodacom knows that they have me signed for another 14 months, so they just dont care to address my query....

I am not even getting excited about the fact that you rep**** to this message, because you have no sense of urgency in your company and you also have zero respect for you clients.
