Inability to render a proper service

PATHETIC!!!!

It will never get better but only worse!

1. I am due an upgrade with Vodacom. 2. Process the upgrade , BOOM get told cannot continue because my account is apparently in arrears, 3. Despite the fact that they received a payment of R3500 MORE THAN WHAT WAS DUE. 4. Phone subscriber collections, am told it will take 5 hours to update, WHAT **** IS THAT. 5. Then get told by the Subscriber collection services agent that I owe R3700 for the month of JUNE! YES JUNE, when JUNE HAS NOT EVEN STARTED AS OF YET AND I STILL HAVE ALL MY MINUTES, SMS's AND DATA. 6. I tell the consultant I do not OWE YOU R3700 so this is incorrect. 7. CONSULTANT Challenges me on this and is firm that I owe R3700, when I argue but what was initially due VS the payment of R3500 is higher, so you the account credit is app**** to the total outstanding amount, of which she still argues with a "Uh Uh" 8. I tell the consultant that her sums are not correct because the APP of VODACOM shows me invoices for April only, NOT MAY AND NOT JUNE, so ME OWING JUNE IS NOT CORRECT. 9. Consultant continues to argue with me. 10. A manager isnt available to escalate a complaint too. 11. Her manager isnt available. 12. Works without supervision - NICE!

This just NEVER gets better!

So heres the thing, because: 1. I cannot upgrade my phone 2. I am told my account is in arrears 3. I am told I owe an amount that I do not 4. I am being billed 60 days in advance so I already have a invoice for services NOT RENDERED and am told this amount is R3700.

I categorically state because of this, I ABSOLUTELY refuse to deal with Vodacom,

Your next steps: 1. A senior engages with me and explains to me how the consultant can tell me I owe R3700 for usage in June, NOTE MY CALLS ARE RECORDED. 2. A manager can explain why the consultant NEEDS TO AGGRIVATE ME the way this one did. 3. Because I am now unable to upgrade, I DEMAND a cancellation quote for everything I have on file with you and you will then receive a payment and we move on with our lives, I will NO LONGER get irritated by Vodacom's inability to provide a quality service offering to paying customers. 4. You can tell me what my AVG spend is on my account.

Reviewer Update
And so it continues,

1. I managed to actually get to a consultant that was able to update my account and then was able to process the upgrade.
2. Upgrade is now apparently in pending status.
3. Was told that the "Verifications" department will call me to verify the upgrade and then finalize it within 24 hours,
4. Well 24 hours have passed and as one would bet, there was no call from the verifications department that occurred within the stipulated time frame.
5. I did receive a call from a consultant at 13:15 that is in the "HelloPeter" department and indicated that he will escalate the matter for them to call me, and as again one would have guessed it, that did not transpire.

SO CONCLUSION:
1. Vodacom is just not interested in assisting clients anymore,
2. Vodacom believes that it is OK to loose clients based on poor service.
3. Vodacom will make statements of escalations and 24 hour turn around etc but does not abide to their own agreements.
4. I can tell you now that Vodacom will absolutely abide by their own terms and conditions when you do not pay them.
5. The absolutely *********** consultant in subscriber collections escalated my matter for a manager to call me, you guess that also has not happened.

So yes, I think now the time has come to either speak to a manager of some stature to sort out my issues or just part ways with Vodacom because like this one cannot continue.
